We Love Bounce interview with PSR

1). What was the first record you ever bought?
Well I think the first ever tune I brought must have been a jungle tune and the tune was called original nutta that was the first style I was into at the time at the times of helter skelter, dreamscape days then I moved more from hardcore and jungle to house when fantasia came into it. and if I was to name my favour house tune then it would Robin S - show me love.

2). you are playing at We Love Bounce – what other genres of music do you play?
I love to play so many different genres, bounce is my love but from time to time I dabble in hard trance , hard house , trance , funky / electro house, hardcore , and now hard style is my new found genre ( the misses favourite lol ). I like to be versatile to appeal to all people’s taste of music but I’m most definitely known more for my bounce.

3). you’ve done a mix for We Love Bounce – what highlights are on there?
Some tunes that tickle my fancy at the moment which I think that we love bounce fans would like so there’s Some old and something new and a couple of productions with tom berry.

4). How did you get in to Djing?  What was your first gig?
From going clubbing really, I use to play at the local ice rink and my first booking was at a night called squeeze your lemon in oxford a fair few years ago now.

5). Describe your ideal night out?
A nice meal out with my partner and maybe catch a movie or a nice night out clubbing with me friends and get up to random wrongness.

6). what is Bang?
Bang is my residency in Bournemouth @ the empire club every month. The event has just turned one and still going strong. It brings the best of hardcore, hard trance and hardstyle in two arenas. It is also run by Mr Dave Burrows and Adam Fingerz himself.

7). you’re also an internet radio DJ, where can we find you and what do you play?
at the moment I’m currently playing for three different radio stations there’s Underground Exhilaration which is every Sunday 6pm-8pm , Dance Transmission every Thursday 6pm-8pm and also Happy Nation every Friday 8pm-10pm.

8). If PSR was a type of fruit what would you be and why?
A avocado because misses say I’m hard on the out side but soft on the inside

9). When you’re not Djing and causing general mayhem on a dance-floor, what can we normally find you doing?
Day to day job, and being at home with my family of which we are currently planning our wedding next year.

Of all the energy, the edge and also the drive behind every different bounce tracks. Bounce is a amazing type of genre to both play and listen to and there’s always a guarantee that it can feel up a dance floor or to get you bouncing at home.
